I just don’t think the book should be thrown at Penn State, only the people involved. I just think it’s not fair to the kids in that program who have had nothing to do with this whole thing. Their lives could be ruined because of this. I get that they let a horrible thing happen but I’m not sure what killing the program would accomplish. I guess vindication for the victims but I don’t even think it gives them that. Just throw the book at the actual people involved, not the program. Also, you think you could check out my blog cuz I really wanna hear what you have to say http://chrisross91.wordpress.com/2012/07/12/joe-paterno-trapped-by-legacy/

This is a really good post. I especially like the line about "playing a role in reality." Right now everybody is counting on our generation being so disappointed that Obama couldn't do everything he wanted to do that we don't show up to vote. I can definitely say that Obama will have at least one vote in Wisconsin that he didn't have in 2008, as I was still going through what could now be called my "conservative phase" at that time.

I assume that you saw this article on Monday (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/02/us/politics/economy-cuts-into-obamas-youth-support.html?ref=todayspaper). It seems rather flawed to me in the sense that 2008 was an anomaly, and usually only true political junkies are paying attention to the election in July. On the other hand, if those attitudes don't change by mid-September there could be problems.
